Brilliant....just brilliant. Food menu and cocktail menu are fabulous. Try to arrive for happy hour, 241 cocktails anyone?The food was sublime and great sized portions. There's a lovely terraced area to sit out on and watch the world go by. Sadly it was raining so we didn't get a chance to use it.The decor is cool and funky.I would highly recommend a visit to this little gem.

Really nice place with great food and staff. Prices quite normal for the standard of venue. Taking COVID precautions very seriously. Well done. A good visit

Definitely a party atmosphere. The food is very tasty, the service prompt and with a smile. A very interesting selection of canned local beers too!

Drinks and atmosphere are great. Prices ok. Barman are so fluffin miserable.

Food was reasonably tasty, I had the Bam burger which sounded like it would be huge.. It wasn't. 2 burgers but they were thin, like a McDonald's burger. Oh and the beer.. Stealth price hikes. They charge you the price of an expensive pint (£4) but only give you 2/3 of a pint! Rip off!

Great food! We ordered the prawn and the lamb bams. Both were delicious. The house fries are great too! The staff were really friendly and the service was really quick. They've got an awesome terrace that will be great during the summer!

Bambalan. Where to start. We had read that the guys behind Bambalan were the creators of Hyde and Co and Milk Thistle so our hopes were relatively high. I do not understand how they could have got it so wrong. The decor is tacky, the staff were surly, the food was awful, the ‘cocktails’ were pathetic and the atmosphere was dead. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys terrible service, flavourless food, and over priced drinks.

I can assure you that the hot chocolate with marshmallows is damn good. The music was nice but a bit loud for my taste but I guess that was because I went there on a Friday night, anyway, overall it's a nice place to go to plus it's very nicely decorated

Trying to be something that it is not. Bar staff poorly managed. Only saving grace is the view over Bristol when outside on the veranda!

For some reason I wasn’t expecting to like this place, but for a drink it’s really good. We didn’t eat but definitely will at some point as there’s always a wriggle deal on and the burgers smelled good. There are also 2 roof terraces which is oddly rare in Bristol. Only downside is that lots of the drinks are quite expensive so make sure to look out for what’s on 2 for £10.

Very tasty and lovely atmosphere

They serve Wray and Nephew so that's always worth a like. I didn't leave my seat all night so can't really comment on any other aspect of the bar. Service was friendly though.

Good for drinks. Great staff. If you are good enough at table wind tennis you can play no problem. Great fun.

Good for after work drinks or date night.nice atmosphere only thing is need more options for cocktails with better deals

Wow! Such a great place to eat! Your chai lattes are just delicious and the food is wonderful! Between us we had the falafel bam and the mezze dip board. Such great value and delicious!!!! I couldn't believe how much food there was!! Just amazing 💜💜

Great place to go but beer on draft is quite limited which gets very samey after a while. Table tennis gets it 4 stars all day long tho'.

It was okay. The guy who was serving our table was amazing, he was so friendly and attentive. They staff behind the bar were not so good. Even when I went in earlier before our booking to order drinks.It makes a huge difference when you have friendly staff. We were a group of 17. As said not all friendly but the guy whom was on our table was great. Hope he got our service charge! He deserved it !!I will say food was excellent. Cleared every plate. Will still come back Even though my mixed review.

This place is great in terms of location, a great location to enjoy a drink on a sunny evening, on the terrace looking out over Bristol City centre. One thing that does prevent me giving it 5 stars though is the limited selection of lager/ale. And that they don't serve a full pint, but the price is that of a full pint. I haven't tried the food yet.

The ambience in Bambalan is really great and I can imagine it'd be really nice for drinks with friends. We went for food as I'd always seen them advertised on Wriggle (the app) Food was good taste wise, ordered a mushroom pizza and a cauliflower bab. Portions were a little small for the price and we had a really long wait for food even though it wasn't that crowded. Did seem like the kitchen was short-staffed though. Might go back another time.

Lovely place, relaxing atmosphere. Wouldn't say its a family place as prices for food a little pricy and choice is limited. Great place for younger generation as there is table tennis, balcony and roof terrace.

Service really poor, had to chase to order then 90 mins wait for food...no glasses with water, wrong meal, chicken raw....salt empty.2nd attempt at eating out and both experiences have insufficient staff and have been disappointing.

Went there for breakfast after being at the Hippodrome the night before and stayed at the Radisson. All very close to each other and convenient. The breakfast / brunch menu isn't huge but it's good. They offer buns where you choose what you want in it from the list. I added a couple of items to the standard one. It was really nice and very filling. The Virgin Mary was also very nice. Good service too. Worth a try

Love that they have a pool table! However, service is slow and, on Pride day it is clear they probably weren't prepared for the crowds! I waited in queue for 20 minutes. Friends had similar experiences. Burgers were overdone but music was good.

They think they’re great but they ain’t. Only serve 2/3 pints, but at pint prices. Staff are rude. There are WAY better places within a walk of here... avoid

Decent restaurant, something different. Food is well cooked, staff are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks are reasonably priced, could do with thatchers gold. I like added extras of table tennis and table football. Seating is comfortable and spacious.

Great vide and music. Food was delicious. Had a great afternoon on the terrace.

A nice place to enjoy a quick drink and a bite to eat with friends. Centrally located, a good selection of drinks, excellent food and some nice seating areas. You have to be quick on a sunny day to get a table on the terrace though!

Amazing croquetas! Quite expensive for a couple of drinks and our first bit of food out after lockdown! Food menu is a bit random with bits of Spanish and north African elements alongside burgers too.

Cool place in Bristol city centre. Great industrial meets quirky interior design. Beautiful food, good service and family-friendly. We had the (ke)Babs and they were very yummy and quite a big portion. Just a note: the mackerel kebab is very good but be aware that the fish fillets are not de-boned. I recommend.

Have been here for drinks a few times but recently ate here for the first time and really enjoyed it! We both nailed a big bamb wrap and it was absolutely stuffed with meat and super tasty!

Perfect food, perfect place, perfect people

Great food, great staff, good lighting and general feel of the place. Come here with your mates, family, colleagues and rest assured vegan and gluten free are catered for too. We were pleased we came here on a sat eve. Oh, and check out the ping pong and deck outside too. Come here for a casual but fun experience.

Good outside space and table tennis was a nice surprise. The roof terrace is a unique feature, if you can get a seat, when the sun's out! I was pleasantly pleased with the quality of the food too, it was the best steak I'd had in ages.
